Winterland

The Winterland brand is the fourth largest brand selling merchandise to over 23 million people in the United States alone, Winterland is the most popular ski and cold weather sports brand in the world. Wanted a restyling of the brand, so I decided to take the situation in hand and help them.

After several meeting the client did not have a clear road to take on so they decided to give me free paper. I gave them three potential logos for the brand fortunately they choose the one I was hoping for.

 

It all started with the initial pencil sketching focusing mainly on the figure of the tree and the negative space. The logo depicts a winter tree together with a snowflake seen under a microscope, joined together I think they give a unique design that is easy to understand and immediate. When the they of the presentation came I was very happy with the result and I was sure about the logo choice.
